POLICE are expected to release closed-circuit TV footage this week of a man in a hotel taken hours before Irishman David Keohane was bashed and left for dead in Coogee two weeks ago.

The footage was recorded at the Coogee Bay Hotel which Mr Keohane (pictured) briefly visited before buying a pizza and walking home.

Mr Keohane's family - mother Rita, father Tom and sister Carol - have been at his bedside at Prince of Wales Hospital since they flew in from Ireland 10 days ago.

Police are still asking for witnesses to the attack, which occurred on the corner of Brook and Kidman streets on Saturday, August 9, about 3am.

Mr Keohane, 29, has not regained consciousness and is on life support in a critical condition.
