Pony club riders do well at events

15/05/2008 4:00:00 PM
Nyngan pony club members are still very much ‘on the go’ and during the past few weeks have competed at many shows and zone competitions.

The monthly meeting of the club was held on Thursday May 8 but as I was unable to attend I am unable to tell you what business was decided upon.

The following are some results from members competing at some of the competitions that have been on.

Olivia Wass at Coonabarabran April 19-20

Champion U10 rider in E grade showjumping, results as follows, 1st in AM5, 2nd in AM7 and Power and Speed.

4th in E Grade ODE.

Olivia Wass at Dubbo. May 3-4

Eighth in AM7 E grade, 2nd in Hunter Pony 12/13 HH, 3rd in hack 12/13 HH, 4th in Pleasure Pony 12/13 HH.

Dressage, 4th in Prep 2, 2nd in Prep 4

Sporting - 4th in Keyhole, 9 and U11, 5th in Running

Elizabeth and Annobelle Hoy at Dubbo, May 3.

Both competed in showjumping, Annobelle being upgraded to B grade and Elizabeth jumping A Grade and both being most successful.

Jessica Bonello at Coonamble, April 19.

Jumping A grade, Jessica won the three jumps, Grand Prix, AM7 and Power and Speed.

Jessica at Dubbo, May 3-4.

Went very well in the A Grade Showjumping for 3rd and most successful for 4th riding her second horse.

Anna Carter at Dubbo on May 3.

Jumping C Grade on her very consistent horse, Anna went very well and should be a certainty for State Showjumping, 2009.

Our three riders Jessica Bonello, Elizabeth and Annobelle Hoy are nominated to compete at the State Showjumping at Cobargo on July 12-13 2008 and we wish them all the very best.

Get well wishes to Danny Dutton, also Nonie Dutton, who both have to have medical attention in Sydney this week.

On a lighter note happy birthday to Peter Dutton who celebrated another one on May 8 and to Bryan Perry who turned 20 on May 9.

See you all at the next rally on May 18, 10am start.
