Local riders saddle up to compete

16/07/2008 4:37:00 PM
Nyngan Pony Club riders have been to competitions run by the surrounding clubs over the past couple of weekends.

On the last June weekend the Bonello family competed in the one day event at Geurie on the new inviting course.

Congratulations to Jessica who ran third in her grade and Jayden who, although he did not place, rode very well.

On July 4 and 5 competition was at Warren and two of our new members, McKinley Coddrington and Jemma Kennedy, were going over to the showjumping day as possibly were others.

This weekend is the Zone 4 Jamboree at Rawsonville.

This is always a wonderful weekend with all club members riding hard to earn points for their club.

All riders are asked to attend a two-day rally on July 16 and 17 where all events for the jamboree will be practised. Penny Hoy will be there to trim horses and show you how to plait. Be sure to bring along your clippers if you have a pair.
