4/12/2008 | The Mid Western Equestrian Club ODE was held at the Nyngan Showground on November 29-30 and was a great success. Although the entries for this weekend were not large, all competitors left at the completion of the weekend assuring all that they had a marvellous time.
27/11/2008 | MID WESTERN EQUESTRIAN CLUB: A well-known politician was not exaggerating when he called Nyngan and district ‘the equestrian centre of the west’.
19/11/2008 | ATHLETICS: The past few weeks at Nyngan Little A’s have been busy both at club level and away. Club-level athletics has seen a busy program in place for the athletes.
19/11/2008 | SHOOTING: Forty-six shooters attended the Hermidale sports ground on October 25 and 26 to compete in the 29th anniversary shoot and travelled from Mosman, Mt Coolah, Cunnamulla, Wilcannia, Brewarrina, Warren, Narromine, Cobar, Victoria, Dubbo, Goolma and Nyngan.
The weather was a little cloudy with a mild breeze and the flies were plentiful.
