Quilters discover new techniques at workshop

16/07/2008 4:30:00 PM
A one-day quilting workshop was held last week with eight local women attending, and a fun day was had by all.

Our teacher came from Dubbo and did a great job of teaching us a new technique.

We had many laughs and a lot of talking throughout the day.

If you want to do a beginners workshop and learn to make a simple quilt, call us for a class coming up in September.

We have a gourmet food stall at Ag Expo and have a wide range of stock ready including jams, pickles, chutneys, olive oil dressings and much more. You may know by now that the Ag Expo is on August 2, 2008.

We also have some items on sale at the shop, so come on over and get the bargains.

Lastly, my husband and I are going on a holiday but I have my trusty band of helpers working in the shop while I’m away, so I hope you will still come and get your supplies in the next few weeks.

Shop hours are Wednesday until Friday from 10am to 4pm.

Phone for appointments over the weekend or Monday and Tuesday on 0407 686 696

Keep smiling - the world needs it.
