The Rotary Club of Nyngan Inc. invites men to visit the Men’s Educational Rural Van (MERV) near the helicopter on Friday May 16 between 9am and 3pm.
MERV is a free mobile men’s health check-up and information service where men can have their blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol levels checked.
A male community nurse is available to confidentially discuss men’s health issues, including cancer, sexual health, prostate cancer, testicular self examination, healthy eating, exercise and mental health.
The van will also be at the Cobar Shire office on May 13 and Brewarrina pharmacy on May 15, from 9am to 3 pm. For further information on MERV, contact Rotarian Peter English on 0417 885 088.
